Not a coincidence, Hurricane Katrina also struck August 29, 2005 --- seven years earlier. ("Seven years" is an important time frame in biblical numeric.)

Here we go again; another sign derived from hurricanes!

 

We expected a sign in 2012, and here it is! (See "2012" article.)

 

• TWO overlapping Seven Years between 
  the two worst American disasters!

 

From the fall of the Twin Towers (9/11) in 2001 until hurricane Ike -- also on 9/11 -- in 2008, spanned exactly seven years to the day. At that time, Ike threatened New Orleans. Seven days before Ike there was hurricane Gustav. Ike effected New Orleans, but especially Texas, causing great damage. 

Hurricane Ike was the second most damaging storm ever recorded. Only Hurricane Katrina was worse. "Coincidently", Ike had the highest "IKE" ever recorded! (See article about Ike written four years ago, and quotes from that article below.)

“Ike also had the highest IKE (Integrated Kinetic Energy) of any Atlantic storm in history. Integrated Kinetic Energy is a measure of storm surge destructive potential, similar to the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Scale, though the IKE is more complex and in many ways more accurate. On a scale that ranges from 1 to 6, with 6 being highest destructive potential, Ike earned a 5.6 on September 11 at 12:30pm (EDT). (2008)”

 

There has not been a hurricane in the Gulf since Ike -- until now, with Hurricane Isaac. And it also happens that Ike is just another name for Isaac! 

Also, Gustav (which occurred seven days before Ike), was the last time a storm significantly effected New Orleans -- until now, with Hurricane Isaac.

As we wrote four years ago, these signs are being perfectly timed as from seven years of years from the actual fall of Babylon in 539 BC. Both a seven-year span on the regular Jewish calendar, and now, on the 360 bible-prophecy calendar, are being used. (See below quotations from 2008 article on Hurricane Ike for the thematic connection to "The fall of Babylon".)

Keep in mind that Hurricane Isaac is just another gracious warning sign to America.

Mecca to be Destroyed Like Sodom and Gomorrah?

(And also My Dream about the Stock Market, Iran, and Sodom)

 

Side note: Why in Mecca (of Saudi Arabia) did the hottest rain ever recorded for anywhere in the world just occur June 5, 2012? A thunderstorm rolled in over Mecca (Mekkah) when the temperature was at 109 degrees. (Moreover, Mecca set their own hottest day ever for that city just three days prior, that is, on June 2, 2012. The temperature hit a scorching 124.5 degrees!) I believe that both the record hot day and the record hot rain three days later are both symbolic of the rain of fire that "rained upon Sodom and Gomorrah" about 4000 years ago.

Why was this record hot rain a sign from God?

Background: Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed in the same year Isaac was conceived/born, (Gen. 17-19). Ishmael was 14 years old when Isaac was born. Ishmael was Isaac's rival brother and was sent away from Isaac when Isaac was about two or three years old, (Gen. 21). Muslim Arabs claim that Ishmael is their forefather and that Ishmael settled in Mecca. Mecca is also the birth place of the founder of Islam, Muhammad. Thus, Jews descended from Isaac and Arabs from Ishmael, and they are enemies to this day. Mecca is as important to Muslims as Jerusalem is to Jews. (Interestingly, the Muslim scriptures has its own lengthy account of the story of Sodom and Gomorrah.)

In the bible, the destruction of both Babylon and Sodom are common themes. They are both everlasting reminders of God's righteous judgment against evil doers.

Ponder this prophecy from Isaiah:

(Isaiah 13:19-20) "And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldeans' pride, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall shepherds make their flocks to lie down there."

In this article about the signs of Hurricanes Ike and Isaac, we show the numeric link back to the fall of Babylon in 539 BC. We showed that from 539 BC to AD 2012 there are 1260 + 1290 years, which as days depicts a seven-year span. I wrote an article about the importance of 2012 several years ago in regards to the fall of Babylon in 539 BC, and in that article I wrote to keep an eye open for token signs that have to do with the fall of Babylon in 2012, but that the end was not yet. (Please see "2012" article, which over the past several years has been read by several hundred-thousand people.)

So, to keep things short, I believe that God is identifying Mecca as an end-time "Babylon" and "Sodom". I don't believe that Mecca is the only city to be connected with Babylon and Sodom, however. Whatever city sets itself up against the kingdom of God and controls vast numbers of people can also fall into this category. But this year it seems that God is especially signifying that the city of Mecca is a type of Sodom and Babylon. Moreover, in the bible there is a prophecy that "Mystery Babylon" (as it is called) will be destroyed by fire (just as Sodom did), (Rev. 18). "Mystery Babylon" is said to sit on seven hills (as Rome sits) and it happens that similarly, Mecca is surrounded by seven hills -- a clue to her destiny.

For more on the importance of Mecca in bible prophecy, please see the website of Walid Shoebat (of whom I have no affiliation). While I believe Walid underplays the importance of western Europe in bible prophecy, (particularly, "Rome"); nevertheless, I believe that Walid is exposing massive holes in traditional eschatology in its neglect of Islam in prophecy. And it appears that God is signaling to all who have ears to hear that Walid is (to some extent) right!

What should we do about all this?

Pray for Muslims that they might be saved, just as Abraham prayed that Sodom might be saved in his day, although his prayer was only partially successful.

 

My Dream at the Same Time as Mecca's Record Hot Rain

Below is a cross-section of the Jordan-valley rift at Jericho at the north end of the Dead Sea -- the lowest place on earth. On the south end of the dead sea is the location of Sodom and Gomorrah. (The rift extends all the way to Saudi Arabia.)

 

On the morning of June 3rd, 2012 (which was one day after the record hot day for Mecca, and two days before the record day for the hottest rain ever for anywhere), I dreamed that I was at the bottom of a very deep valley and I was shooting down fighter planes with an anti-aircraft gun as they passed overhead. In my dream I was made to understand that the large "V" shape of the valley represented the stock market. When I awoke I reasoned that Iran was soon going to attack Israel (or visa versa), and that it would affect the stock market. I shared the dream with my church publicly that Sunday morning, but I misunderstood the timing of the dream. I thought that the stock market that week was about to collapse. I few days later I realized that I was ahead of myself in that interpretation. (Those few days were about the worst few days of my life! My own "great tribulation", so to speak!) 

At 6 pm on June 6, 2012, after much anguished prayer, I looked at the stock market graphs for the Nasdaq, (which automatically is set for the past 5 days), and there it was --- the exact steep "V" shape that I saw in my dream. (Both June 1 and 6 were the greatest decline and advance for 2012, which thereby created this sharp "V" shape. 

And now, at the time of writing this (Sept. 23-25, 2012), the sharp "V" at that time turned out to be the bottom of an even larger six-month drop and subsequent advance in the stock market. So, the dream was accurate, but regretfully I leaned to my understanding as to its timing. I should have realized that because in my dream I was at the bottom of this "V" valley, that therefore the day that I had this dream was also the bottom of the valley in the stock market too! 

I still believe that there is a larger picture, however -- a much larger valley to occur when Israel invades Iran (or visa versa, or some other war with Israel). It will affect world commerce. Hence, I believe that the "V" shape in the stock market that first week of June (and over the past six months) is a token of a much larger event to come. But as to when exactly, only God knows, a lesson I unhappily learned!

(Interestingly, as I write these words just now, 1-2 pm, Sept. 25, 2012, the "Day of Atonement" is just commencing in Israel, a day strongly associated with judgment in the bible.
