Yeshua Bible Code
The Terms, "Scrolling" and "Generation"
LESSON 5a
Oct. 20, 1997
The bible numbers have caused me to appreciate the beauty and wisdom of a simple walk of faith. Many times I have personally earned the searching rebuke of the risen Messiah to doubting Thomas. With fear and trembling, along with these words from the Gospel of John, I submit to both Jew and Gentile this revelation:
In lesson 1 and lesson 3, we briskly established the obvious thematic link between the names of our bible code (Yeshua and Elijah) found at the call of Moses, as compared with the "Two Witnesses" of Zechariah 3 & 4 and Revelation 11. In lesson 4, we detailed the significance of the particular words where the bible code lands on during its 120-letter skips. We will now begin to detail the meaning of this bible code numerically.
In lesson 2, we charted the several ways scripture denotes a 3-½ year period. We saw that the common phrase used was "time, times and one-half times."
"time" = 1 year |
"times" = 2 years |
"½ times" = ½ of a year |
360 days |
720 days |
180 days |
Using the normal "360" calendar, we saw that this amounted to 360 + 720 + 180 = 1260 days. Furthermore, our bible code revealed a 120 x 3 x 2 letter pattern for "Yeshua" (= 360 x 2 or 720 letters) and a parallel 120 x 3 letter sequence for "Elijah" (= 360 letters). Therefore, we reason that the "Elijah" code depicts a 1-year period, or "a time," and that the "Yeshua" bible code depicts a 2-years period, or "times". The ½ time we will look at later. This, therefore, is the fundament numerical link of our bible code as compared with the 3-½ years of the book of Daniel and Revelation.
Birth of Abraham unto the birth
of the nation of Israel
There are 720 years between Abraham and the nation of Israel's "birth" at the Exodus. This 720 years conforms to the 720 letters sequence of the Bible code. To Abraham was made the promise (when yet he had no children) that from his offspring this mighty nation would come after they had formed in the womb 'of the land of Egypt' from whence they were delivered.
The first words to Moses at the burning bush echo this promise to Abraham. It therefore shows that the theme of 'Abraham to the Exodus,' is a fitting place for the 720 letter/year bible code to be placed:
I have here highlighted in red the last word ("said") that the bible code lands on and thus the 720th letter. The word ("my people") is highlighted blue because it has a gematria value of 120. (Each Hebrew letter represents a number in Hebrew. Adding them up is called "gematria." We will talk more about the gematria soon.) Remember that the first word that the Yeshua bible code falls upon during its 120-letter skip is also the same word ("said"). This is because the 720 years are designed to be viewed forward and backward even as the Yeshua bible code itself moves forward then backward (YeshuauhseY). I call this phenomenon "scrolling," since "the Scroll of the Lamb" (Revelation 5), as with any scroll, is unfurled forward or backward when opened in the middle. This is important since Messiah is the beginning, ending, and center of time.
